The Accusative Plural of Adjectives

The Russian adjective in the plural changes according to number and case.
An adjective in the plural qualifies its head-noun and agrees with it, i.e. it has the same number and case.

If an adjective qualifies a noun denoting an inanimate object, its accusative and nominative are identical: | -ые | |

Adjectives with the stem in к, г, х, ж, ш, ч, щ take the same ending as the adjectives with the stem in a soft consonant: | -ие | |
большие хорошие синие дома, окна, комнаты | ||
If an adjective qualifies a noun denoting an animate being, its accusative and genitive are identical: | -ые | |
новые друзья, подруги | новых друзей, подруг | |
Adjectives with the stem in к, г, х, ж, ш, ч, щ take the same ending as the adjectives with the stem in a soft consonant: | -ие | |
